Objectives of DESI
Health and Educational Services
The organization provides accessible healthcare services to individuals with disabilities, focusing on preventive care, treatment, and rehabilitation. DESI also offers educational support, including special education programs and resources tailored to different age groups.
Awareness raising
DESI conducts extensive awareness campaigns to promote understanding and acceptance of disabilities. These campaigns challenge stereotypes, reduce stigma, and foster empathy and inclusion.
capacity building
DESI conducts training programs and workshops to enhance the skills and abilities of persons with disabilities and underprivileged individuals. These programs cover areas such as vocational training, entrepreneurship, and personal development.
Advocacy and Promotion of Inclusivity
